Register now for the Romanian Prayer Breakfast and the international conference on Human Dignity

On 25 – 27 September, the Ecumenical Romanian Parliamentary Prayer Group organized in collaboration with the European Christian Political Foundation the 8th Romanian Prayer Breakfast followed by an international conference on Human Dignity. The Romanian Prayer Breakfast will be hosted by the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament, Mr. Valeriu Ştefan Zgonea. 

After the international conference, also parallel sessions will be organized focused on pro-life and the integration of people with disabilities in Romania and to mark the launch of the Romanian Chapter of the World Youth Alliance. For our international guests a special session will be organized where the Universal Declaration for Human Dignity will be discussed. 


The event will start with a cocktail on 25th in the evening. On the 26th in the morning the Romanian Prayer Breakfast will be held, followed by the international Human Dignity Conference in the afternoon. 

Confirmed experts (amongst others) are:

  • Father Fr Piotr Mazurkiewicz of the Pontifical Council for the Family (Italy)
  • Mrs. Esme Wiegman (former Dutch MP, highly experienced in the medical-ethical debate) (NL) 
  • Mr. Johan van Veelen  (director of Siriz, care organisation for young women with unplanned pregnancies) (NL) 
  • Prof. Dr. Hans Reinders, expert and professor in ethics and in Christian philosophy (NL)
  • Laila Onu, Executive Director Pentru Voi (Romania)
  • Daniel Wisniewski (WYA Europe Regional Director)
  • Obadias Nbada, (World Youth Alliance International President, New York) 
Further we got confirmations of international guests from the Belgium, Finland, Georgia, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, United States. Together we will look how we can promote and develop Human Dignity both in Europe and in Romania.

On the 27th (optional) a special excursion to the Danube Delta is offered as an excellent opportunity to see more of Romania.

The Prayerbreakfast will take place in the Romanian Parliament (the Parliamental Palace).

Should surrogacy be banned?
